As a Wild Ten Pilot, it’s good to get to grips with your partner in battle—the War Robot. With several War Robots to choose from, each with its own unique attributes, picking the best ally for each fight is crucial. Built for team support and backline firepower, Angler joins the squad defenders. By shielding allies and hosting heavy sniper builds, it keeps your frontline brawlers alive while laying down heavy fire from safety. Starting September 15, Angler will be available through Daily Deals, direct offers and the new Event pass. Combat Analysis War Robot Model: Angler Class: Tactician Dominion: Freecon Angler is a strategic backline support robot, perfect for Pilots who like protecting their team from a safe distance. While it has decent armor for a Tactician, it isn't built for close-up fights and will quickly crumble if caught in direct crossfire. Angler's main strength is its Tesla Feed ability. From behind cover, it can charge up frontline allies' shields and zap nearby enemies with extra damage. Its load capacity handles heavy long-range setups, letting you mix and match different artillery and sniper weapons to fit your playstyle. Pair it with the new Breacher for maximum control. The new weapon fires homing rockets that deal splash damage. Fast flankers can dodge them, but it wrecks slow, heavy targets—forcing them to burn through fuel just trying to dodge the constant splash damage.
