Time to evolve and adapt, Pilots! The following patch will be deployed for War Robots: Frontiers following a short period of maintenance on July 29, 2025. This patch will introduce the Spark of Ingenuity Battle Pass to Season 2: Power Surge, alongside new content to unlock. New Content Spark of Ingenuity Battle Pass The Spark of Ingenuity Battle Pass is your way of evolving and adapting to new battles on the Wild Ten. Play to earn XP and Battle Tokens, level up your Pass, and exchange your Battle Tokens for new electrifying content. New War Robot: Mesa (Defender) with Harmonizer (Core Gear) added. New Weapon: Locust (Light | Kinetic | Shotgun) added. New Supply Gear: Ammo Fabricator added. New cosmetic options added. Discover and unlock 40+ rewards throughout the rest of Season 2: Power Surge! New Cosmetics Two new Animated Wraps have been added to the Store. Intel Discount Event (July 29–August 26) Need a boost? Returning players can battle daily for up to seven days, and new players can level up to unlock bonus Intel, a crucial resource used to upgrade your battle Builds. Enjoy Intel upgrade discounts on the following items: War Robots Siren Cyclops Pursuer Weapons Trident Railgun Gemini Scatter Gear Supply Gear: Energy Wall Cycle Gear: Homing Missile Cycle Gear: Umbrella Supply Gear: Blink Cycle Gear: Recon Mode Battle Pass Adjustments Players working through the Free Battle Pass can now earn enough Tokens to access all 4 Shipments of the Spark of Ingenuity Battle Pass, with some items still locked for Battle Pass Gold players. Gameplay Adjustments Match Making Matchmaking now prioritizes Crews of 4 or more to only be able to play with other Crews of the same size. This change is to protect solo-queue players from playing against full organised groups, and allows organised groups to match together easier. Maximum matchmaking time for Crews consisting of 4 or more players has been changed to 5 minutes. Gear Players can now see the trajectory of Ghost Turret (Supply Gear) when activating it. Player Progression Player progression has been updated. Blueprints for Scorpion (War Robot), Tusk (Weapon), and Repulsor (Supply Gear) are now available through player progression. Added a widget in the ‘Play’ screen that shows which War Robots can be unlocked through progression. Added additional Keybindings for the Workshop. Customize: LMB Options: RMB Sound Effects (SFX) Updated SFX when walking. SFX now changes depending on the surface a player is moving on. Improved environmental sounds on the maps Terminus, Catalyst, Spectrum, and Tutorial. Added new SFX when capturing Warp Beacons. User Interface (UI) When editing a War Robot in the Workshop, Blueprints are no longer displayed as the first item. The ‘Battle Results’ screen has been redesigned and now highlights level progression. A player’s League is now displayed on the matchmaking screen. UI in the Crew Tab has been updated. Added a visible indicator on the Crusher button on the map ‘Fissure’. Premium purchase animations and purchase animations in the Store can now be skipped. Visual Effects (VFX) Adjusted VFX for the following Core Gear and Cycle Gear: Death Ray (Cyclops): Ally VFX is now yellow. Infinite Ammo (Cycle Gear): VFX is now purple. Warp Reload (Fury): VFX is now purple. Wrath (Ares): Enemy VFX is now red. Zealot (Purifier): Enemy VFX is now red. War Robots Armor values for all Modules have been rounded to the nearest value. Pilot Talents Ricochet Ricochet can now trigger on any direct targeted Weapon Damage to an enemy Module. This applies to Weapons that fire bullets, lasers, or direct hits with flamethrowers. Increased the chance to trigger Ricochet from 5% to 15%. Technical Improvements Improved client and server stability across all platforms. Bug Fixes Camera Fixed a bug where the camera would return to the default position when placing a Sticker. Maps Fissure: Fixed a bug where players were unable to climb on top of certain rock formations. Pilot Talents Fixed a bug where Ricochet would not work with certain Weapons. User Interface (UI) Fixed a bug where increased reload times after upgrading a Weapon were displayed as a positive change (green) instead of negative (red). Fixed a bug where a ‘Where to get’ text box would be displayed for Titan modules. The category ‘Pilot Assist Boost’ has been removed from the ‘Battle Results’ screen. Visual Effects (VFX) Fixed a bug where projectile traces from Ghost Turret (Supply Gear) were not visible when shooting from behind a player. Need help?
